Getting many images from a site

August 19, 2016 Leave a comment

Update: found extractface 5.0 for facebook

I’ve tried to do this in the past.  Make sure you have ownership.  One example is needing to get an entire facebook album.  A quickly explained method, It now has an option to do this if you:

  1.  Go t0 the specific photo album
  2. Select the gear icon on the right.

Other options.

Option A.  Save the webpage as an html file somewhere.  Then manually extract the images.

Option B:  Use browser cache software: http://www.nirsoft.net/web_browser_tools.html

Option C: couldn’t get to work.  Use specific software made to extract images from a site.  2 free options I looked at were: Java Image Downloader 1.9 and a software title that can be run in either German or English languages, called: Bilder Herunterlader.

The filename was called: BilderHerunterlader439Setup.exe both of These required java runtime engine, I think they run on multiple os.

These are handy in launching programs or a group of programs with specific commands.

Sometimes they have a specific purpose.  For example launching DOSBOX DOS Utilities with De-fend.  Or using kodi to launch multimedia or programs.

controlling slackline, Tethered flying RC vehicles

August 15, 2016 Leave a comment

Am looking into RC vehicles and that technology at times.  Thought about using a wired solution for an RC flying vehicle because then it could fly longer and not recharge.

PERCEIVED PROBLEMS WITH A POWER CORD

Too much slack on the wire and it could get tangled up on things.  This problem may be solved by giving it only the amount of slack it needs based on its movement.

–For example if it went down give the wire less slack, up more slack.

DURABILITY – Thought the wire would have to be strong enough.
