Process: Starting, Backup, Restoring, Tweaking Internet Settings to speed up internet

Starting TCP Optimizer 2.03

  1. Extract TCP Optimizer in the folder of your choice (example: C:\Program Files\TCP Optimizer).

  2. Double-Click it to start it.

  3. Goto File–>Exit

Backup Current settings

Goto File–>Backup Current Settings

Click Ok

Tweaking Settings

  1. Double-Click it to start it.

  2. Drag the slider until it says 56 Kbps (or what the internet connection speed is)

  3. Click Optimal Settings, Apply Changes, and Exit

Restore current settings

Goto File–> Restore BackedUp Settings, if asked to restart, click yes

Vista TCP Optimizer (at bottom of page):  http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php (Only for not shared networks; will make not work if try with shared connections )
